While growing up in East Texas I always knew I would speak and tell people about Jesus.  As a child I would play with tape recorders because I enjoyed speaking into the microphone.   We had three channels on television and one of my favorite programs to watch was "The Hallelujah Train."   The reason I was so fascinated with the program was because it had an African American host who held a microphone.  I cannot begin to tell you how bad I wanted to get my hands on that mic.  I knew early on that I wanted to be in radio.  I would go outside and sit in my dad's truck and talk on the CB radio all afternoon.  I would call the only radio station in town and talk to the on air announcers because I thought they had the best job in the world.  I ended up working at the number one country music radio station in America.  Then came my calling.  The Lord saved me, filled me with His holy spirit, led me to leave that position and prepared me for Christian speaking.

The Message

God requires a lifestyle of holiness from His people.  The Bible says "Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy."  (I Peter 1:16)  We are called to live a lifestyle of sanctification.  We are told to be separate from the world and we are instructed never to join forces with the works of unbelievers.  In order for God's purpose in our lives to be fulfilled, we have to walk in obedience.  In order for us to be effective, we have to live holy.
